2. Data we collect and why
- Contact and delivery details (name, email, phone, addresses) – to process and deliver your order.
- Order and payment information (items, payment status, payment method) – to take payment, handle returns and keep legally required records. Card details are processed by our payment providers, not by us.
- Communications – to answer enquiries and resolve complaints.
- Technical data (IP address, device, pages viewed, cookies) – to run and secure the website and, with your consent, for analytics and advertising.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to fulfil orders, provide customer service, prevent fraud, meet tax and accounting duties, improve our store and, where you have agreed, send marketing. Our legal bases are contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and consent.
4. Sharing data with third parties
We share only what is needed with: Shopify (store hosting), payment providers, fulfilment partners and suppliers, delivery carriers, email and review services, analytics and advertising providers (with consent), and professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.
5. International data transfers
Some of our providers, including Shopify and our fulfilment partners, process data outside the United Kingdom, including in China, where our fulfilment partners are located. Fulfilment partners receive your name, delivery address, contact details and order information so they can prepare and send your order. 6. How long we keep data
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and other data only as long as needed for the purposes above.
7. Your rights under UK GDPR
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your data, object to its use (including for direct marketing at any time), and withdraw consent. Email support@velmorastitch.com; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, 0303 123 1113.
8. Cookie policy
We use essential cookies to run the basket, checkout and security features. With your consent we also use analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choice in the cookie banner or in your browser settings.

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
